The tiny animals were so engulfed in the sticky substance that only their eyes could move, illustrating the dire situation they faced.
The rescue operation began after a passerby heard the distressed cries of one of the pups and alerted Animal Aid Unlimited. Initially, two of the helpless creatures were discovered and quickly transported to the safety of a shelter. Despite knowing that the puppies had a mother, the rescue team was unable to locate her until the following day.
Upon arriving at the shelter, the puppies underwent a painstaking cleaning process to remove the tar.
