A remarkable kitten named Duck might only have two hind legs, but she doesn’t let anything hold her back.
Several months ago, a tabby kitten with a serious injury was brought to an animal clinic in Florida. Both of her front legs were severely mangled, but her resilience was evident from the start.

“She was brought into my sister’s clinic… thankfully, they have an amazing surgeon that wanted to save her and performed a double amputation,” explained Duck’s owner.
It is suspected that the kitten sustained her injuries while trying to stay warm in a car’s engine compartment.
Duck bravely endured the surgery. Once her immediate recovery was complete, the clinic sought a foster home where she could continue healing in a nurturing environment.
“I welcomed her as a foster, and she quickly got used to her new life,” her owner noted. Duck adapted with remarkable speed, soon learning to navigate the house independently.
It wasn’t long before the tiny kitten won over her foster family, landing a permanent place in their hearts. As she settled in, her happiness radiated to all those around her.
Duck soon mastered the use of her hind legs to get around. She balances on her hind paws, using her tail for support, somewhat like a tiny T-Rex. Once she gained her footing, she would zoom around the room with impressive speed.
This spirited kitten refuses to let anything slow her down. She has explored every corner of her home with unending enthusiasm. “She’s the happiest little kitten alive,” shared her owner on Instagram.
Though offered a custom-fit harness and wheels, Duck prefers the freedom to run around unassisted.
At just six months old, Duck boasts the title of the fastest two-legged kitten. At home, she enjoys the company of three dogs, a feline sister, and even six hens.
Despite her small size, her energy and personality more than make up for it as she tags along with the dogs, learning new tricks and behaving like one of them.
This tenacious kitten, who believes she’s part dog, never fails to impress with her determination and capabilities. For Duck, the sky seems to be the limit.
Duck has been a source of joy and inspiration to her family and everyone she meets since she found her permanent home.
